Dorothy was born in Denver, Colorado. After 22 years as a homemaker, she worked at the United States Bureau of Mines & Geological Survey for 16 years.
Dorothy enjoyed club work, served as President of Denver Federation of Women's Clubs in 1980-81, various arts and crafts, and traveling. Dorothy is survived by daughter Julie (Brad) Rice; son, Scott (Jeana) Asnicar; eight grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents and two brothers.
